This is an excellent beginner to intermediate board. The mini mal funboard traditionally was designed and shaped for stability, and for less powerful waves in the summertime.
Designing a light weight & stable board, without sacrificing performance, was my goal for this board.
It’s slightly narrower for easy paddling, while allowing speed for catching the wave. My mini mal funboard is designed to give you better stability, better balance and to help you progress in your surfing skills as a beginner, and as an intermediate surfer. The Chubb mini is great in its maneuverability and performs amazing throughout the waves.
